Conference Postponed

The AFMA Technical Conference, “Business Tools for Environmental Decisions” scheduled to be held November 4 and 5, 1998 in Charlotte, NC has been postponed indefinitely.

Mark your calendar, to learn better ways to deal with environmental issues.

A growing number of decision tools is becoming available to guide businesses as they evaluate new products and processes, plan new or renovated facilities, maintain regulatory compliance and attempt to improve both economic and environmental performance. The American Fiber Manufacturers Association (AFMA), in cooperation with many of the industry's leading trade and professional associations, is offering an opportunity for you to improve your company's ability to manage environmental issues in a manner that makes sound business sense. This conference offers an introduction to a variety of these state-of-the-art technologies that have direct application to manufacturers of fibers, textiles, apparel and carpets, as well as their suppliers and customers.

Conference participants will learn how systematic approaches to business decisions can be used to avoid waste and unnecessary costs, facilitate regulatory compliance and establish procedures for long-term economic and environmental sustainability.
