EPA Meeting on Fees Collection Under TSCA, August 11-12

On August 11-12, EPA will hold a meeting to consult with manufacturers, processors, and representatives of such entities who are potentially subject to fees under the Toxic Substances Control Act as amended by the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act (TSCA). The input obtained during this meeting will be considered as the EPA develops its procedural regulation on fee collection.

Who Should Attend?
OPPT has identified significant submitters from the following categories of entities as potential sources to help identify manufacturers and processors, and representatives of such submitters, for purposes of the fees consultation:

  • Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) Work Plan Chemicals
  • CDR (non-Oil & Gas)
  • CDR (Oil & Gas)
  • CDR Imports
  • CDR Children’s Products
  • Premanufacture Notices (PMNs)
  • Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) Processors
  • Small Businesses
  • Trade Associations

If there are additional categories EPA should consider to help identify potential participants for the above noted discussions, please contact Andrea Cherepy Cherepy.Andrea@epa.gov or share this information, as appropriate, with other manufacturers, processors, and representatives of such entities who are potentially subject to fees under the Toxic Substances Control Act and may be interested in this consultation.
